Ms. Vanettra loves being at Sunshine House where she can be her happy, silly self with the children. She was born in San Francisco and enjoys reading and being creative in her spare time.  Fun Fact:  all of the women in her family’s names end in the letter *A*.

Ms. Ana loves working with children because of their unique personalities.  She enjoys being able to provide comfort to the children and peace of mind to their parents; knowing they are truely cared for and having fun.  Ana and her husband love to travel the world and bring their dog , Rolo, with them to as many places as they can.

Ms. Cynthia joined the Sunshine House team a few years back after teaching for over 10 years.  She was born in Mexico and enjoys being able to share and speak Spanish with the preschoolers. Cynthia loves to write, color, and binge watch a good TV show. She is silly and enjoys making the children laugh. Her dream is to travel the world.

Ms. Trish has been part of the Sunshine House Preschool family for over 20 years!  “Children fill my heart with joy and they make me smile.” She is adoringly referred to by her husband, Mark, as “pumpkin”.  She loves spending time with her 2 grown sons and granddaughter, especially when they go to Disneyland.  Trish is a diehard Giants fan and can count down the days far before most, to her favorite holiday: Christmas.

Ms. Vanessa has worked at Sunshine House for over 25 years! She has 2 dogs, Elvis and Zoey, she loves watching Warriors games and she loves Christmas. She loves working at Sunshine House because it allows her to grow, build confidence and the children always make her laugh and smile. If Ms. Vanessa had a super power she would choose flying. 

Ms. Alexyss has her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development from Sac State. When not at Sunshine House, you can find her coaching her cheer team, gardening or following the SF sports teams. She has 3 younger siblings and a German Shepard mix dog named Socks. When talking about why she loves working with kids she tells us, “I like hearing all their ideas and how they understand the world. I like being a part of their early learning and helping shape them into little people. I love all the smiles I get to see every day and all the positive spirits of the children.”
