Ms. Angel loves to work with children because she believes they truly are our future.  “If we can teach them to be kind and open-minded children, they will become kind and open-minded adults.” Angel is married to her husband Junior and is the mother to her baby, Luna.  Her favorite holiday is Christmas because she loves all the holiday cheer!  Angel is a huge baseball fan and her favorite team is the San Francisco Giants.  She will always call a friend to help her whenever she sees a spider (she’s just a little afraid). If you want to track her down on while she’s on a vacation, look for a tropical paradise or a local beach.

Ms. Cani has been a loyal part of the Sunshine House crew since 2004 and loves the family feeling we have for each other! Johnny is her husband and she has two school-aged boys, Jisias and Antonio. She also has her adorable dog, Cafe. Her favorite color is purple and her favorite book is The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Cani’s favorite movie is “Dirty Dancing”. Her favorite quote is, “To be your self in a world that is trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

Mr. Justin enjoys working at Sunshine House because he feels that it is a “fun and loving environment; it’s like one big family”. His hobbies include digital art, programming, and watching cartoons. Justin’s favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle and he’s even dressed up as The Very Hungry Caterpillar for Halloween before! His favorite holiday is Christmas because he likes to spend the cool winter season bundled up in blankets with his family watching Christmas movies and drinking hot chocolate. Justin has always been in love with Japanese culture and his dream vacation would be to go to Japan!

Ms. Sydney is a Sunshine House Preschool Graduate, which is why it holds a special place in her heart. She felt the welcoming vibe right away as a teacher and loves the teamwork and amazing children that make work so enjoyable and fun!  She enjoys working out and especially enjoys spin classes and has even instructed a few spin classes! Sydney is always smiling and of course her favorite quote is:  “If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours.” – Dolly Parton

Ms. Liz has been a part of the Sunshine House family since her 3 boys attended over 29 years ago!  She likes working with children because “they make me smile and I like to watch them grow.”  Her favorite color is purple and her favorite holiday is Easter.

Ms. Diana enjoys working with preschool children “because of their curiosity and interest to learn more and discover”.  She appreciates being able to be a part of this important chapter in their lives. Diana is fluent in Spanish and she enjoys speaking to the children in both English and Spanish.  If she could choose a superpower, she would choose to fly!  Her favorite holiday is Christmas.
