Get ready for a pumpkin-filled week! We’ll be exploring the wonders of fall harvests and celebrating Halloween.
Here’s what we’ll be up to:
- Monday: Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater Day: Learn the classic nursery rhyme and discover fascinating facts about pumpkins.
- Tuesday: In & Out Day: It’s time for a fun opposites game!
- Wednesday: Corning Around Day: Get your taste buds ready for a corn taste test! We’ll also be learning about and working with corn.
- Thursday: Halloween Carnival: Wear your favorite costume and join us for a spooktacular celebration! Please send a change of clothes.
- Friday: 5 Little Pumpkins Day: Learn and act out the popular nursery rhyme. Don’t forget to bring in a mini pumpkin to share!
We can’t wait to have a pumpkin-filled week with your little ones!
Parent Tip: To enhance your child’s learning experience at home, consider reading books about pumpkins and fall harvests, or exploring local pumpkin patches together.
Pumpkin Facts for Kids
- Pumpkin is a fruit, not a vegetable.

- They grow on all continents except on Antarctica.
- Almost all parts of a pumpkin are edible.
- Their name originates from a Greek word pepon (large melon).
