Monday – Color Mixing

How you can participate: At home, you can talk about the primary colors: red, blue, and yellow.  What happens when you mix 2 colors together?

Tuesday – Tasting the Rainbow

How you can participate: How about having your child help you make a rainbow plate of fruits or veggies for snack.  The more color the better!

Wednesday – Opposites: Light/Dark

How you can participate: Talk with your child about the differences between light and dark.  What activities happen during the day when it’s light and during the night when it’s dark?

Thursday – Brown Bear, Brown Bear

How you can participate: Ask your child what animals they can remember from our book “Brown Bear, Brown Bear”, and what color the animal is?

Art – Fork painting bears
Cognitive – Memory game

Friday – Rainbows

How you can participate: Sing the rainbow song with your child throughout the weekend to remind them of the colors. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple.
