Creepy Crawly Week!
Get ready for a week filled with fascinating insects! We’ll be exploring the world of creepy crawlies from head to toe (or should we say, antenna to stinger?).
- Monday: We’re buzzing with excitement as we introduce the soft “C” sound!
- Tuesday: Let’s get buggy! We’ll discover all sorts of interesting insects and their amazing abilities.
- Wednesday: It’s Little Miss Muffet Day! Join us for a fun-filled day of rhymes and acting.
- Thursday: Eensy Weensy Spider Day is here! We’ll learn about these amazing creatures and their incredible webs. It is also our monthly Family Breakfast and PJ Day!
- Friday: Let’s get in shape! We’ll be exploring the world of triangles.

Remember: This week, we’re focusing on insect safety. We’ll discuss how to stay safe around bugs.
Parent Tip: Encourage your child to observe insects safely from a distance. Teach them to admire but not touch, especially unfamiliar bugs.
Centipedes are aggressive predators that hunt spiders and insects as well as some other types of arthropods. They move quickly and use their many legs to capture and hold onto their prey. Each leg has a claw-like appendage that centipedes use to inject venom, which subdues their prey.
