September 16-20, 2024
Let’s Dive into Marine Birds!
This week, our little explorers are taking a deep dive into the wonderful world of marine birds! We’ll start by soaring high with the majestic albatross, but we won’t stop there!
Monday: Short “A” Adventures We’re taking flight with the short “a” sound! Get ready for some fun phonics activities.
Tuesday: Circle and Roll It’s all about circles and rounds today! We’ll be rolling, bouncing, and having a ball with our circle time activities.
Wednesday: Sink or Float Fun Let’s explore opposites with a “sink or float” experiment! This is a perfect activity to try at home, perhaps during bath time.
Thursday: Penguin Parade Did you know penguins are amazing swimmers? Their black and white feathers help them camouflage in the water! We’ll learn all about these fascinating birds.
Friday: Seagull Spotting We’ll wrap up the week by learning about seagulls and their coastal lives.
Parent Tip: Encourage your child to use descriptive words to describe the different birds they learn about. For example, “The penguin is black and white and looks like it’s wearing a tuxedo!”
